In this publication you can find reproduction, fattening and slaughtering results of pigs in the National Breeding Program. Presented results are the average values for pbz, wbp, pulawska, duroc, Hampshire and pietrain breeds. Numerical data are accompanied by comments made by pig breeding specialists. The brochure contains information about crossing program introduced by “POLSUS” as well as our health program and BLUP animal model. Publication is bilingual – Polish and English.

A modern how-to-book prepared specially for farmers purchasing breeding stock of the National Breeding Program. There is some practical advice on how to choose proper breed and how to deal with purchased breeding animals. Guide was consulted with prof. Marian Rozycki from National  Research Institute of Animal Production in Cracow and prof. Zygmunt Pejsak from National  Veterinary Research Institute in Pulawy.
